a strategic, text-based online RPG where power is earned, not given.
In this game, you step into the role of an ambitious dealer striving to climb the criminal underworld’s ranks.
Unlike traditional RPGs, Drug Lord features a dynamic economy where supply and demand dictate drug prices.
No fixed rates, no easy money.
Every decision you make affects your empire, whether it's expanding your operations, striking deals, or crushing your competition.
You'll engage with other players in a world where alliances can be as profitable as betrayals.
Raid rival territories, enhance your skills, and complete challenges to establish dominance.
Adapt, strategize, and outmaneuver your enemies to become the ultimate kingpin.
The underworld is yours to control, if you have the vision and ruthlessness to survive.
At game launch there are 8 drugs available for sale, and at the start of the seasons the prices for each drug are as in the table below.

The demand and supply for each drug is only calculated when you buy or sell a drug.
If your lab produce a lot but you do not sell it, the demand will not change, but you risk of been invaded by others.
Each player has a set of stats that define his character, and these stats are:
- Attack Power
- Defense Power
- Luck
No matter if you attack or defend the luck factor is always used.
Laboratories are used to produce drugs.
you can have as many labs as you want, limited by your age and reputation, but you need to have the money to buy them.
All your laboratories are producing a random drug per game hour until you collect.
Another random drug will start to produce after collection.
While you keep those drugs on you, you do not modify the market price, but you risk of been invaded by others.
You also risk of loosing all or part of your production if sabotaged.
Be careful not to flood the market.
Escorts provide multiple uses.
First of all the bring money every game hour back to you.
Money not collected from your escorts might be lost in a sabotage.
Second, they can be used to spy or sabotage other players.
The amount of escorts you can have, is limited by your reputation.
It is possible if you loose reputation to loose some of your escorts.
Escorts cost money to acquire but once they are yours, they are yours "forever".
The game economy is player driven.
If you sell a lot of drugs and flood the market, the drug prices will go down.
If you buy a lot of drugs and the market is empty, the drug prices will go up.
If you do not sell or buy drugs, the prices will remain the same.
The demand and supply for each drug is only calculated when you buy or sell a drug.

Of course this is a simplified version of the economy, but it is enough to give you an idea of how it works.
Nevertheless what you do has only a minor effect on the economy as this is a multiplayer game and other players actions are also taken into account.
Age is the only characteristic of your character that is persistent between seasons.
Age affects the number of labs you can have, your reputation, your max turns, and also, sadly, your death.
The older you are the more labs you can have, the more reputation you can have, but also the closer you are to death.
A character is expected to die of old age, at the age of 75 to 85 years old.
Turns can be used to perform actions in the game.
With turns you can:
- Invade
- Spy
- Sabotage
- Buying and/or Selling drugs
You can increase your max turns by upgrading them through training and/or with age.
Reputation is one of the most important characteristics in the game.
It allows you to have more labs and more escorts.
You gain reputation with age, invasions, money, buying drugs, escorts and finally by building labs.
You gain reputation by bringing other players to the game.
You gain reputation when other people outside of the game click on your reference link. (only 1 click per person per day)
But you also loose reputation if you are invaded, you are caught by the police, you loose your money, you sell drugs or be defeated when you initiate an invasion to another player.
Top 10 players are displayed on the main page, and they are sorted by reputation.
Every game day, there is a chance, a game driven event, that will manipulate the market, will take place.
The events at the moment are:

A game day is 6 hours long.
At the end of each day, the following will happen.
- You get 10 turns. (can not exceed max turns)
- A game driven event might take place.
- Your laboratories produce drugs.
- Your escorts bring you money.
- The market prices are updated according to the game events.
- We are 1 day closer to the season end.
- Your character is 1 day closer to death.
The Godfather is where you will go if you need to borrow some money, or if you need to create a familia.
The GodFather will lent you money but you will have to pay it back with interest or else you will loose much more than your reputation.
The GodFather will also help you create a familia, but creating one, has a creating cost and a maintenance cost and the GodFather will be there to collect it.
Familia is a large group of druglords, band together to make their life easier.
Within the familia you can buy guns, cars, and other stuff that will help you in your quest to become the ultimate drug lord.
But been in a familia is not only benefits, you will have to help your familia members keep up the maintenance cost of the familia.
To create a familia you need to have a minimum reputation and a minimum amount of money.
The number of familias in the game is also limited, and the closest we are to the limit the more expensive it will be to create one.
To learn the cost of creating one, you will have to talk to the GodFather.
We promised a free game, without microtransactions or paygates and we intent to keep our promise.
But, the server requires mantainance and we need to pay for it, as well as the man hours spent on developing, maintaining and improving the game.
